Good Jobs
Every resident deserves an opportunity to punch their ticket to the middle class. Now, more than ever, Boston needs jobs that provide family-sustaining wages. As a union member and workforce advocate for three decades, I’ve helped bring diversity to the building trades and helped folks go from getting “jobs” to building careers. When people have the opportunity to learn a skill or trade, they succeed, and our neighborhood thrives. Allston-Brighton residents deserve to be at the top of the pecking order for job openings in our community. Local employers need to hire locally. I will be a strong voice for our community and our workforce on the Boston City Council.
