Dan Daly is a lifelong resident of the Allston-Brighton area, and has been active in his community from an early age. He and his 11 siblings are all first-generation Americans whose parents emigrated to Massachusetts from Ireland. Working as a Union electrician, Dan has dedicated over 30 years to help fellow residents get access to well-paying jobs in the skilled trade industries, and to help those industries increase diversity. He serves on the Little League Board of Directors, St. Elizabeth’s Hospital Scholarship Committee, and serves as the President of the Brighton-Allston Improvement Association among many other boards and committees.
Dan believes that every person deserves to have a good paying job, to own their own home, and to live in a safe and healthy environment. He has seen Allston-Brighton change a lot over the years and is running for City Council to help ensure the neighborhood continues to grow in a positive direction for all residents. He serves the neighborhood on numerous community boards committed to protecting the environment, to supporting residents of all walks of life, and to ensuring developer accountability on projects around Allston-Brighton. With your support, Dan will be a true progressive voice for our neighborhood on Boston City Council.
